Newman Hall
About Our Residence:
Newman Hall, a key part of the Catholic Chaplaincy community, offers dedicated student accommodation. We provide 16 undergraduate rooms and 4 postgraduate rooms with contracts complying with Welsh Legislation
Eligibility:
Our accommodation is exclusively available to full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students. We are unable to offer tenancy to non-students, including spouses of students or staff not enrolled in a fixed-term higher education programme. While residents do not need to be Catholic, a certain sympathy towards the Catholic faith and its ethos and ethics is essential.
Facilities:
All rooms are ensuite and self-catered. Shared kitchen, lounge, laundry room and communal dinning room. Extensive garden. Wifi and utility bills included. 24 hour access to a Chapel for private prayer and community liturgy. Communal areas are cleaned weekly. A limited number of parking spaces are available for residents at the rate of just £50 a year, subject to the chaplain's discretion. Additionally, we offer limited accommodation over the summer and for events; please get in touch for more details.
